CRUX OF THE PROCEDURE:
Purpose:
To establish and maintain high housekeeping standards across all areas of Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LCPL), ensuring a safe, secure, and organized workplace.
Scope:
Applies to the LCPL Site, Raw Water Pumping Station, and adjacent 50-Acre Plot, supporting risk control and monitoring programs for effective housekeeping.
Key Requirements:
- Responsibilities:
- Director Manufacturing assigns housekeeping responsibilities and ensures availability of resources.
- Department Managers define and communicate housekeeping standards.
- Section Managers nominate individuals for area-specific housekeeping and maintain inspection records.
- Each employee is responsible for keeping their workplace clean.
- Housekeeping Practices:
- Remove tools/materials after job completion. Temporary storage must be marked and barricaded.
- Proper storage facilities must be available for materials, tools, and documents.
- Regular housekeeping audits are required.
- Safety equipment and emergency exits must be unobstructed and clearly marked.
- Unused or infrequent areas must also be well-maintained.
- Special Conditions:
- Areas should be used as intended; temporary usage requires approval.
