CRUX OF THE PROCEDURE:
Purpose:
  • To regulate visitor access and ensure their safety at Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LCPL) premises.
  • To prevent unauthorized entry at both Site and City Office.
Scope:
  • Applies to all visitors at LCPL Site and City Office.
Key Requirements:
  1. Visitor Control:
    • Visitors must not have free access; they must be identifiable and accountable.
    • Personal visits are discouraged.
    • Area Manager approval is required for visits to certain areas like the Plant, Workshop, and Laboratory.
    • Visitors must always be accompanied by a host.
  1. Security Procedures:
    • Visitors must be pre-registered through the Visitor Management System (VMS) or manually.
    • Security will issue a visitor badge, inspect vehicles, and provide safety instructions.
    • Hosts are responsible for visitors’ conduct, safety, and briefing on emergency procedures.
    • Visitors must wear appropriate attire and required PPE for plant access.
  1. Emergency Protocols:
    • Security must provide visitor details to assembly point leaders during emergencies.
    • Any visitor accidents must be reported to the Occupational Health Physician.
  1. Special Visitor Categories:
    • Regulatory officials must be received by designated managers.
    • Educational groups require approval from General Manager HR & IT.
    • Emergency Services have free access.
    • Contractors must nominate visitors for approval.
    • Special procedures apply for VIP visits and Open Days.
  1. Communication & Training:
    • Management staff must ensure awareness and compliance with visitor procedures.
    • HSE Department provides site safety induction, valid for 3 months.
  1. Documentation:
    • Visitor records maintained manually and electronically.
    • Security must track visitor entry and exit.

The host must immediately inform the Occupational Health Physician and arrange for medical treatment or transportation if necessary.

The Director Admin HR & IT delegates responsibility to the General Affairs & Security Manager to develop specific procedures for such visits.

The safety induction training is valid for three (3) months.
