CRUX OF THE PROCEDURE:
Purpose
The De-Matching Procedure ensures the removal of ignition sources (e.g., matchboxes and lighters) at Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LCPL) to prevent fire and explosion hazards.
Scope
This procedure applies to all employees, contractors, visitors, and customers entering the LCPL Plant Site, except for fire extinguisher training activities conducted by the HSE department.

- Cubby Hole Cabinets: Secure storage units at entrance gates where collected lighters and matches are temporarily stored.

Requirements
Security Measures:

- Collected ignition sources must be safely stored and returned upon exit.
Smoking Area Management:
- HSE & Technical Training Manager updates the list of smoking-permitted areas and ensures audits.
- Admin & IR Manager maintains smoking areas, provides fuel-free lighters for cooking, and ensures regular cleaning of ashtrays.
- Electrical & Instrumentation Managers ensure electric lighters in designated smoking areas are maintained.
Communication & Training:
- All responsible personnel must be trained on de-matching requirements.
- Security, housekeeping, and HSE staff must undergo awareness training regarding their responsibilities under this procedure.
